On-Camera Acting & Filmmaking

Looking for a Fun, unique summer camp? Look no further!
We offer teen summer camps throughout the summer that you won’t want to miss! You can join us for a half day or full day. Our morning class will focus on Acting for TV and Film and our afternoon class is a Filmmaking class! You can enroll in our morning or afternoon class, or take both and stay with us during the lunch break as a full day option.
We offer a Master Acting class during the Summer that is by invitation only. Other than our Master Class, all classes are a great fit for all experience levels!

Acting On-Camera
Through scene study, we teach actors tools so they are able to prepare very real, natural characters with genuine emotions. At Spotlight, instructors encourage students to make each audition and performance very uniquely theirs! Above all, we help young actors build confidence in the acting world and in life! Current Film & TV Sides are sent ahead of time so students are prepared to perform. Footage of classwork will be sent to download after class. Our class sizes are small and every actor gets a chance to perform!
Filmmaking
Aspiring filmmakers will gain training in shooting, writing, directing and editing. Students will apply what they have learned first hand by producing their very own short film. Films made in class will be available to download and share with friends and family. Several Spotlight films, including some that were produced during Summer Camps, have been selected by our creative staff to be submitted to film festivals. Spotlight films made by our teen classes have received several nominations and won awards!
Master Class
In our Master Class we dive deep into the emotional journey of our characters, which requires more personal work and vulnerability. Please understand that in our teen classes we do not edit scripts and actors have the option to use the language or edit to something they are more comfortable with. This class is by invitation only.
