OUR STUDIO LOCATIONS

We operate in two Houston area locations:

  • MIDTOWN HOUSTON : 4118 Fannin, Suite 210
  • KATY: 21412 Provincial Blvd.

Our studios are designed for both film and TV acting, with ample space for hands-on workshops, on-camera practice, and small group instruction.

What is the Chubbuck Technique and what does it mean to be certified?

The Chubbuck Technique, created by acting coach Ivana Chubbuck, is a 12-step process that helps actors channel personal experiences into truthful, powerful performances. Katie’s certification means she trained directly with Ivana Chubbuck and is officially recognized to teach this technique — a distinction held by only a select few instructors worldwide.

We do not offer trial classes. Our classes are kept closed to provide the best experience for enrolled students. Occasionally, we host virtual open house events  — the best way to hear about these events is by following us on social media.

Yes! Our classes are a rolling enrollment and are structured so students can join at any time without falling behind. We’ll help new students integrate smoothly. If a class is on a waiting list, please join the waiting list and we will be in touch as soon as a spot is available.

  • First month’s tuition is due at registration to hold your spot.

  • Tuition is processed automatically on the 1st of each month.

  • Two weeks’ written notice before the start of the next month is required to withdraw.

  • No refunds or credits are issued after payment.

  • Students joining mid-month may have prorated tuition or a credit applied.

Missed classes are not refunded. Make-up sessions may be offered if another class at the same level is available. Withdrawals require two weeks’ written notice before the next billing cycle.

Classes are available for ages 8 through adult, from beginner to advanced.

Classes are kept small to ensure every actor gets personalized instruction. Our class sizes range from 8-14.

Youth classes have 2 instructors for every 12 students, while teen and adult classes typically range from 8–14 students per instructor. This allows for hands-on guidance, one-on-one coaching, and a supportive learning environment.

Bring a notebook, a printed copy of your assigned script, pencil and ballpoint pen, and water. We encourage you to bring the props needed in your scene. Comfortable clothing is encouraged for movement and on-camera exercises.

No — we are not a talent agency and cannot guarantee bookings. What we do is prepare students for professional work and:

  • Share audition leads and opportunities with enrolled students

  • Provide referrals to casting directors when possible

  • Guide families on how to get started in the industry

Our Performance Lab class is the only class with a live performance. The focus of all other classes is on on-camera training. We record student work and share it with families so you can see progress. The goal is industry preparation, not staged productions.

Absolutely! Many students begin shy or hesitant. Over time, they grow in vocal strength, self-expression, and presence — skills that carry into school, interviews, and beyond.
