ACTING WORKSHOPS
Auditions for TV/FILM & Commercials
Our Acting workshops focus on keeping actors audition techniques sharp. Each month, our acting workshops alternate between auditions for TV/Film and Commercials. You can join a workshop as needed, or participate every month. Our sides and commercial copy are different each month so that you can learn different techniques and requirements using new scripts. This is a great opportunity for additional training focused on the techniques necessary for a successful self tape. It is important to learn the tools that will get you callbacks and bookings! This is a great workshop for current students to apply what they are learning in class to their auditions and to learn audition techniques, as well as new students who are interested in learning more about acting for Film and TV. Sides will be provided before the workshop.

Workshops are for ages 8-18. Participants will be assigned scripts fitting their age.

FILMMAKING WORKSHOPS
Winter 2 Day Film Camp
We are all familiar with the I’m BORED! Only hours after Winter Break has begun. All out of ideas to entertain? Be a part of our 2 Day Film Camp for ages 11-14 and 15-18! Join us as we take on the challenge of writing, shooting and editing a short film in 2 DAYS! This is a great opportunity to learn the filmmaking process, get in front of the camera if you want to, and possibly have demo reel footage depending on your role in the film. Short films made during the 2 Day Film Camp may be uploaded to our YouTube channel and you will be provided a link to download your film so that you can cherish it forever! We will provide snacks and water on both days and lunch on Day 2. Join us this Winter and be a part of the movie magic!

At Spotlight, we offer new acting workshops every month. Check back and see what is available for the next month! All workshops are a great opportunity for all experience levels. If you are interested in giving acting or filmmaking a try before registering for an ongoing class, our workshops are a great way to get a feel for our classes before making the commitment of a class.
